It's brrrrrr!!

So cold in the studio these days. Winter is always tough. Concrete floors and walls; flat roof; wind whistling through the windows. Luckily the studio's all shored up this year - I had the leaks from the ceiling patched up in the summer so it's more or less watertight (till the next flood!)

Still, it's not the easiest of environments to paint in at this time of year, so I'm working at home when it just gets too difficult. Not that I envy the office workers in their overheated offices, in shirtsleeves all year through. But I must admit that I wouldn't mind a slightly less inhospitable working climate in the winter months. I need a new pair of thermals...
