So it's time to dig back into the studio again after a couple of weeks away. All work and no play....
Finally promising myself to get those paintings underway that I have delayed starting for too long. Sometimes when you have an idea for a painting, that's the time to hold it close - for as long as you can. Ideas don't grow on trees and are all the more precious for that.
Also, I need to get my new paintings documented and up on my website (www.julieumerle.com) before the end of the year. A whole list of chores to accomplish - as well as the pleasure of actually making the work. Now it's time to get motivated. Watch this space!
