'ART/Converters!' 2015

'Art Converters' 2015 kicks off at studio1.1 in London from 2 April - 26 April 2015 (closed Friday 3 April).

A fundraiser group show to support the gallery, all artists work will be available at just £200 per piece.

'Art Converters' is a biennial fund-raiser at studio1.1 where all works donated by supporters of the gallery will be sold for just £200. Over sixty artists connected with studio1.1 have donated work. Artists include: Gill Ord, Vanessa Jackson, David Ben White, Jefford Horrigan, David Small, John Summers, Kate Lyddon, Marcus Cope, Oona Grimes, Robin Seir, William Cruickshank, William Stein, Julie Umerle and Andrew Seto. 

All profits from the show go towards keeping the gallery running. This is a show not to be missed. An opportunity to purchase astonishing works of art by exciting artists at a bargain price.

studio1.1 is an artist-led, entirely not-for-profit gallery space situated in Shoreditch, East London.

Shoreditch gallery studio1.1 are starting the year with a major fund raising initiative. They've asked artists from past and future shows to donate work (of any value) which can be sold for the simple one-size-fits-all sum of £200. The show will be an opportunity to buy truly affordable art from truly interesting artists. And at the same time of course your purchase will gain the added value of having contributed to the continued survival of a space that lives for and believes in the artists it shows.
